Ribble Valley Naturist Club – 3rd,4th and 5th May – Outreach Group visit

http://www.ribblevalleyclub.co.uk/

Not long now until our first big event of the nee season – our Group visit to Ribble Valley Naturist Club, Lancashire’s most welcoming Naturist Club, situated in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley.

Join fellow Outreach Group members anytime from Friday at 1 pm to Monday of the bank holiday weekend. I think that most accommodation options are still available; contact Ribble Valley to enquire and book.

We start the weekend by enjoying the club facilities and grounds on the Friday. The evening incudes a quiz, traditional Lancashire Hotpot (subsidised from Group funds) cost £2.50 per head – book with me (Simon D) Later, legend (in his own lunchtime) DG Slim Boy Fat takes to the decks with an eclectic disco (requests now being taken)

On Saturday we are planning to do a walk, taking in a local hostelry for refreshments and Lunch. Those choosing not to walk can meet us there if they like.

On Saturday evening, we are invited to join Ribble Valley members for their annual table top race night (Great fun last year). The club are providing a filled baked potato supper, followed by a selection of sweets (cost £7.00 per head – book with Ribble Valley).

Sunday includes a lunchtime barbecue (bring your own) and an afternoon of outdoor and indoor game. The choice of games includes; boules, giant jenga, miniten, water polo, mölkki, pool and table tennis.

We plan to order a takeaway in for “tea” followed by more fellowship in the clubhouse, or chilling on the patio.

Nothing formally organised for the Bank Holiday Monday, but there are the beautiful grounds, pool, sauna and hot tub, not to mention the beautiful Ribble Valley to enjoy.

Don’t miss out, get yourselves booked in. Have a look at the Ribble Valley website and book direct.

A couple of notes; the bar is cash only, and don’t forget your sunscreen.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you there.

The club is open to tents and motor homes but not caravans at present. There are full kitchen facilities available.

Chalet £30 a night, tent £20, Campervan £25, hook up should be £10 a night but they will do it for £5.

To book contact the club and then email the enquiries address so we can monitor numbers.

Morecambe Bay Naturist Club – 14th, 15th & 16th June – Outreach Group Visit

Morecambe Bay NC (MBNC) has kindly agreed to host a Naturist Outreach Group weekend at their club on the weekend of 14th to 16th June.

MBNC’s website says this about the club:

Morecambe Bay Naturists isn’t like a traditional large naturist (or nudist) club. You could say we are a naturist beach, without the beach, but with woods and lawns instead!

In 1989 we moved to our permanent site Silverglades, in the picturesque village of Silverdale, since when we’ve been a naturist beach… without a beach.

We have 10 acres of secluded woods, glades and lawns located only ten miles north of Lancaster and less than a mile from Morecambe Bay, and close to Silverdale Station.

We don’t have luxuries like electricity and gas – after all, what naturist beach does? Our facilities are very simple which is why our annual fee is so low – about £1 per week!

When members are present we mostly spend our time there outdoors which means it’s best to visit when the weather is warm.

The site is ideal for day visits, or for stripped-back camping.

The information about the club is published on their website:  https://morecambebaynaturistclub.wordpress.com/

The cost of the weekend will be £38 for people camping for two nights and staying two days; and, £51 for people camping for 2 nights and staying for 3 days.

To book this weekend, please contact the club directly by email at:

  • enquiries@mbnc.org.uk
  • Please provide them with photo identification and evidence of your home address, so a driving licence for instance, or a passport ID page and utility bill.  Clearly, if you are already a member of MBNC this isn’t necessary.
  • Let them know how many nights you want to stay for etc.

As they say, the club has limited facilities and as such it will be a relaxed weekend.

Halfmoon Bay naturist swim – Sunday June 16th

We are planning to organise a beach visit on the Sunday morning at Halfmoon Bay, we’ll keep you informed as to how that progresses.  If it’s a wet day, we might just meet at the café by the car park.  The tides on June 16th at Heysham are high tide at 7:30 am and 8:11 pm and low tide is at 2:10 pm.

So, if we aim to meet up between 10:00 and 11:00 it should not be too far to walk to the water.

Outreach Summer Pizza Party – Sunday 16th June – Leyland

Peter is hosting another pizza day in Leyland on the Sunday afternoon and evening, more details in the chat.

Outreach and Friends go to France – 18 to 25th August 2024. Contact David Markland on WhatsApp for further details.

Outreach members and their friends are welcome to join a group of us at the fabulous Domaine de Bélézy Naturist resort in sunny Provence during August 2024.

The core week for our visit is 18th to 25th but some us will be arriving before that and staying on afterwards. Note that it is possible to get to Bélézy by public transport and that the resort has a variety of rental accommodations for those who don’t want to camp or don’t have a caravan/motorhome/campervan. Please also note that should you wish to come, you will need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Feel free to contact David Markland for more information including how to get to Bélézy and the accommodation options available, or just for a chat about the site and what to expect.

Check out the Bélézy website here: https://en.belezy.com/

Diamonds in the Buff 2024 – 12th October 2024 – Venue to be confirmed, the Outreach Group’s third annual naked dinner and disco event

As well as events organised by ourselves, many of us visit many of the other Naturist events and activities around the NW and beyond. We often car share, allowing members without their own transport, or wishing to keep their fuel costs down to join the fun.
