Overview
As the group has become increasingly established, with numbers continuing to grow. Our events and activities are tending to fit into the following categories:
- home grown ones, initiated and organised by ourselves,
- visits to “Landed Clubs”,
- events organised jointly with “Landed Clubs” within our core area
- and “The Grand Tour” where we visit larger events organised or promoted by BN or other organisations such as The Naturist Foundation and Bare West, and now also including an annual over-seas trip.

The Outreach Group, initially set up to geographically mirror BNs NW region is proving to be a great way for naturists to keep in touch with each other, share ideas and experiences and to meet up with like-minded people. As an Outreach Group member, you can be confident that whatever event or activity you go along to, you are sure to meet other Outreach Group members.
As a naturist there might also be things that you might like to try, so why not suggest them and let’s see what we can organise. Please be minded though, if members make suggestions and others don’t show interest and support for events, they probably won’t happen. The Outreach Group is very much a club for active rather than passive naturists. Please join is discussions on the WhatsApp chat Group and have your say.

Blackpool & Fylde Sun Club – Saturday 5th April 7.00 pm
Poulton YMCA Swimming & Fitness Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Blackpool, FY6 7HJ.
Come and join us for a couple of hours in a warm, friendly and safe environment. We currently only have have the use of the pool and seating area. The spa is closed until further notice.
Don’t forget to come along to the nearby Thornton Lodge pub afterwards to finish off the night. Still not sure? Just come along to the pub and meet us from around 9:10pm. If you are travelling a distance, please check the website.

As usual, there will be lots to do for those who want to have fun and keep busy, with lots of opportunities to take advantage of the beautiful grounds, heated pool, sauna, hot tub, club house, sunbathing and games lawn, pétanque and mini ten/pickleball. For those who just want to sunbath and chill, Ribble Valley is a beautiful and ideal place to do it.
Saturday night is the main event with a table-top Race Night and home-made pie and peas supper.
There is no charge for day visits or the Saturday night – just pay for supper. There is a chalet available to book in advance, there are pitches for 4 campers/motor homes and a camping field.

May 23rd – May 25th Weekend visit to Liverpool Sun and Air Society incorporating Gala Buffet on the Saturday evening. (Day/evening visit if you prefer)
Friday night is the weekly sauna and Jacuzzi night at LSAS, who boast biggest heated outdoor pool of any naturist club in the region. Sat around it, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were sat around the pool in the Mediterranean. You can expect the food at the Gala Buffet to be second to none; former professional chef Alan and his team are well practised at delivering high class cuisine.
Liverpool can accommodate caravans and motor homes with electric hook-ups and campers. Unfortunately, they don’t have cabin type accommodation to rent out.

We’re located off J44 of the M6 so only 15 minutes from Solway Sun Club if you’re looking to stay with your caravan, camper or tent.
We do have one spare double room available on a first come basis and a bed settee in the lounge. We would encourage car sharing for anyone staying at Solway ( means most of you can have a drink)
Our driveway can accommodate up to 5 cars of moderate proportions plus there are other options in the cul de sac we live in.
*Vegetarians will be catered for as required

June 1st BN Regional pétanque competition Lancashire Sun and Air Society – Rufford, Lancashire. This event is free entry for players and spectators.
June 6th – June 8th Group visit to Ashdene Naturist Club (Day Visit if you prefer)
Our visits to Ashdene have consistently proved to be very popular and well attended. We are always made to feel most welcome. We generally start the weekend in the bar or leisure suite before eating together and later joining the Friday night quiz. Saturday usually involves health and wellbeing activities such as aquafit and Tai Chi and a game of Molkky, mini ten or pétanque interspersed by a lazy sunbathe and a drink from the ever open and well stocked bar. Later, this may be followed by a stroll into either Elland, Brighouse or Halifax for a couple of drinks. Nigel and I are then usually dragged out of Weatherspoons or the Craft and Tap to enjoy a meal together. For those staying on, after breakfast on Sunday we will no doubt take another dip in the pool followed by the hot tub and decide what to do from there. Sunday evenings at Ashdene usually involve a communal takeaway.
Ashdene has 11 hard standing for caravans/motorhomes and 4 grass pitches, all with electric hook-ups, 3 club caravans to hire and a camping field with electric hook-ups. Early booking is always advised at Ashdene due to the club’s popularity.
June 13th World Naked Bike Ride (Manchester). This is a worldwide event which will run whether we attend or not, but it would be great if we could communicate beforehand and arrange to meet up. Please could someone volunteer to coordinate?
June 13th – June 15th Windermere woodland weekend. Camping weekend in the beautiful English Lakes District(BN)
June 21st Outreach Group Annual Dinner – masked ball and carvery, 3 course meal and disco. The Ribble Valley Club. 6:15 for 6:45. but why not arrive much earlier to enjoy the club and all that is has to offer entirely free of charge.
We are holding this event in collaboration with and hosted by The Ribble Valley Club, Ribchester. Provisional Cost just £12 (Yes Really – read on) This is a big one for us and a chance for us all to come together and meet each other. To encourage maximum participation, the management committee have agreed to contribute £200 to the event to make it affordable for all and provide an incentive to come along. Make a weekend of it and take advantage of the club facilities which include beautiful grounds and stunning location, heated pool, sauna, hot tub, club house, sunbathing and games lawn, pétanque and mini ten/pickleball.

June 25th Naturist evening visit to Dorothy Clive Gardens with BN Willoughbridge, Market Drayton, Shropshire
June 28th Peter’s Summer Pizza and Garden Party. Leyland Past chairman and current Webmaster Peter invites you to join him at home in Leyland for the latest of his popular Pizza Parties, but as it is the middle of summer, weather permitting of course, lets enjoy this one in Peter’s secluded back garden. Please book in with Peter H.
July 5th Naked Beach Day – St Annes Beach, Lancashire. Hosted by Blackpool and Fylde Sun Club. 11.00am onwards. The Club run a naturist beach day in the same location on the first Saturday throughout the summer, weather permitting. https://www.blackpoolandfyldesunclub.co.uk/
July 7th – July 13th Nudefest Somerset. The UKs biggest and liveliest annual naturist event/festival with a full-on programme of music and activities (BN)
July 25th – July 28th Party in the Stark (PITS) at the Naturist Foundation, Orpington Kent. A fantastic naturist music festival and party at Britain’s largest landed naturist club.
24th July – August 18th – Outreach Group on Tour 2025. Starting off with several Group Members attending PITS (Party in the Stark) at the Naturist Foundation in Kent, the tour then continues down through France where members will be visiting various naturist clubs and sites in France.
August 9th – 10th Ribble Valley Open Weekend – Free event
August 21st – 25th BN event at Baskerville Hall 202 Booking is open on the BN website but so far BN only says – A four-night bank holiday party weekender featuring live entertainment and daily activities.
September 1st – September 8th Bare Camp Somerset. Held at the same location as Nudefest, but offering a more down to earth week of music and activities (Bare West)
