Events Overview

Our events and activities tend to be organised in the core area of where our members live and fit into the following categories:

  • Home grown activities, initiated and organised by us with invitations to specific members.
  • Visits to Landed Clubs.
  • Events organised jointly with Landed Clubs within our core area.
  • Our annual summer gathering at Ribble Valley Naturist Club.
  • Grand Tours where we visit larger events organised or promoted by BN or other organisations such as The Naturist Foundation and Bare West Events, and now also including an annual overseas trip.

The activities are very much what the hosting member wants to make of them with members of the Group who are happy to join in, whether it’s a gathering at a member’s home, a Naturist walk or getting together to attend a local swim.

There are also regular and one-off events and activities organised by other Naturist clubs and groups that we become aware of and promote either on our website or via our WhatsApp groups.

Finally, there are the BN events and numerous local events within the region and across the UK that are published in the calendars on www.bn.org.uk. You can access the calendars here: Calendars. They are open to both BN members and non-members.

As a Naturist there might also be things that you might like to try, so why not suggest them and let’s see what we can organise. Please be minded though, if members make suggestions and others don’t show interest and support for events, they probably won’t happen.

The Outreach Group is the sum of what the active members of the Group achieve and that is what makes it a great Group to be a member of. Please join in and make an active contribution, join the discussions on the WhatsApp Chat Group and the monthly Zoom meets and have your say.

Club Visits and Joint Events

We believe that we have already visited almost every Landed Club in BN’s NW Region, and further afield, where we have always received a warm welcome and have always been invited back. These visits are a great way to engage with, and contribute to, the wider Naturist community. For all our club visits, some members make a weekend of it, while others might just do a day visit.

With all of these visits we recognise that we must comply with our hosts’ rules and regulations and respect their way of doing things at all times. For all our club visits you will need to book directly with the respective club through the procedures described on their websites.

Our most popular and regular club visits are to the Ribble Valley, Ashdene and Liverpool Sun and Air Naturist clubs.

The Ribble Valley Club has been the most proactive in repeatedly inviting us back and hosting joint events. Indeed, Ribble Valley have very kindly an extended an invitation to all Outreach Group members to visit the club three times in any one season entirely free of charge for a day visit or to attend an event. Club facilities include beautiful grounds in a stunning location, heated pool, sauna, hot tub, club house, sunbathing and games lawn, pétanque and miniten/pickleball. There is a chalet available to book in advance, pitches for four campervans/motor homes and a camping field.

Ashdene Naturist Club near Elland, West Yorkshire is also a very popular weekend destination, hosting us on numerous occasions. The club has 11 hard standing for caravans/motorhomes and 4 grass pitches with electric hook-ups, 3 club caravans to hire and a camping field with electric hook-ups. Ashdene is quite unique as they are a genuine all year round club with events throughout the year and a pool heated well into the high 20s even in the depths of winter. Early booking is always advised at Ashdene due to the club’s popularity.

Liverpool Sun and Air Club (LSAS) offers a great Naturist experience a short distance from central Liverpool and Manchester with good transport links. The club has a large heated outdoor pool, a sauna and hottub, a clubhouse and games room, and extensive outdoor leisure and sports facilities. The club does not have accomodation to rent but can host motorhomes/caravans/campervans and has a lovely tent camping field. There is a budget hotel a five-minute drive away where our Group members sometimes stay during our visits. LSAS hosted our first Diamonds in the Buff dinner dance which was a great evening.
